Kuwait Commercial Markets Complex Company (KCMCC)  developed and built an amusement park in Sha’ab, on the southern coastal area of the City of Kuwait. With over 800,000 visitors annually and with over 45 major attractions with other indoor attractions and video games; Al Sha’ab Leisure Park is the first in leisure industry in Kuwait to obtain ISO-9002 certification.
 
The overall objective of the park is to provide best entertainment service for families, leisure education for children, relaxed environment to the elderly and maintain all its facilities to international standards.
 
The park is spread over 140,000 square meters and has a wide and varied range of facilities, such as latest rides/attractions, indoor games, indoor sports, Ice Skating rink, Roller Skating rink, shops, international and local brands of restaurants and coffee shops, cinema, multipurpose hall and beautifully laid out soft landscaped gardens with shaded environment. Guests of all ages and all tastes will find their adrenalin rush catered to at Al Sha’ab Park.
 
The park, inaugrated in September 1996, is easily accessible from all parts of Kuwait and is one of the best family entertainment destination in Kuwait and neighbouring countries.The local cultural values have been of prime importance in any activities carried out in the park and the parks’ contribution towards boosting local tourism is also worth a mention.
